Olatunbosun Onaopemipo Olalekan, widely known as “The Global Catalyst,” is a management scholar, business consultant, educator, author, and corporate governance expert whose work bridges academic research, policy relevance, and real-world organizational impact. With over six years of professional and scholarly engagement across business development, entrepreneurship, education, and sustainability, he is recognized for his consistent contributions to capacity building, strategic leadership, and knowledge production.
He has completed a Master’s degree in Business Development from Higher School of Economics, Nizhny Novgorod and is currently a Doctoral Researcher in Management at Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS) Guido Carli, Rome, Italy, where his research interests span management studies, entrepreneurship, international trade, sustainability, innovation, and organizational decision-making. His doctoral training reflects a strong orientation toward empirical research, interdisciplinary inquiry, and policy-relevant scholarship.
Olatunbosun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counselling from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), Nigeria, a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) with international recognition, and a Certified Management Specialist (CMS) with Distinction in Time Management from the London Graduate School. In addition, he is professionally certified as a Negotiation Associate (NCN-A™), Corporate Sales Associate (SCCS-A™), and Marketing Research Associate (SCMR-A™), reflecting strong competence in negotiation strategy, sales management, market intelligence, and productivity optimization.
He is a serial entrepreneur with multiple ventures spanning consultancy, education, governance, logistics, and civic technology. He founded ExperTrait Consulting and Management Ltd in 2018, a consultancy providing strategic advisory services in corporate governance, business development, and organizational performance to clients across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Ghana, the Republic of Ireland, and Russia. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of The Learnaholics Academy, Africa’s pioneering capacity-building e-learning platform, delivering over 50 professional courses to learners across 26 African countries and expanding to European communities with more than 5,000 students impacted. In addition, he founded iSabiVote NG (www.isabivote.com.ng), an e-voting platform designed to enhance transparency and citizen engagement, and co-founded Here2There Transports and Logistics Ltd with his father, Mr. Waheed Olalekan Adebayo, a logistics and transport company addressing mobility and distribution challenges in Nigeria.
A prolific scholar, Olatunbosun has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals, with research covering economic growth and environmental sustainability, international trade agreements, entrepreneurship and SME development, experiential learning, digital transformation, financial volatility, and artificial intelligence in business decision-making.
