MAKING YOUR LIFE A MASTERPIECE – ADEKUNLE ABIODUN
I assume most of us are young people.
I am 27 and just starting out in life.
If you are younger or older, you are also just starting out
Whatever time that your preparation meets opportunity is when you start out in life.
No such thing as too early. No such thing as too late.
Your life is largely defined by how much of your desire is accomplished, how much of your dreams are fulfilled and how much of your goals are achieved.
What have your proposed to do with your life?
Do you want to win for yourself or for others?
By this, I mean, do you want to spend your life following your own path or you want help others create theirs?
We live in a world where some people try to determine our future by the colour of our skin, our social class, our family status, our academic background, etc.
You are constantly going to face ridicule and opposition even if you thought you were the best thing since garri Ijebu.
When these come, what voices will you listen to? Whose counsel will you take?
Remember, you already set yourself on a journey.
Would you deviate, withdraw, be intimidated?
Again, I go back to this.
There are many young people who are in bondage to the systems of these world.
Their minds cannot think beyond the immediate.
Their eyes cannot see far.
Forever dependent on the government to give them a job. Forever dependent on a relative to help them.
Always seeking help.
Always dejected.
This is the era of new ideas, outstanding innovations, breathtaking discoveries.
Which part of these would you be?
What do you want the story of your life to be like?
That you packed in the same garage that your parents parked?
Waiting till 60 so your kids can start sending you money because you have retired?
No!
What propels you?
What are your desires?
What are your convictions?
What are you passionate about?
What cycle do you want to end?
What new thing do you want create?
I finished school in April 2019. Landed an internship the next month. I left because I wanted something else.
Now, I’m on radio…
I know what my next move is.
This is my story and it is still being written.
What is yours?
What would yours be?
😁
The world doesn’t recognize passion that’s not backed money.
Money only pursues a man of vision, not a man of passion.
You have to realize that you need money to fulfill your dreams.
Jesus, according Christian theology, came to save the world yet he had Judas assigned to keep his money.
Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the house of representatives recently volunteered to teach at schools during his free time. He waited until he had enough money to do it as a passion.
I’d advise you go make some money. No one will listen to any man without a loaded pocket.
Follow your passion when money is no longer a problem.
Proverbs 10:15 The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
Proverbs 14:20 The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
Proverbs 19:4 Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.
Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
