I am certain I am not the only one who, at one point in time, felt like my efforts were not worth it. I hope we can all relate to that point where the urge to quit becomes overwhelming. I mean, a point where the result we crave doesn’t seem to be in view.

It can be very frustrating when you have checked the list of things you should do to get a particular result. It becomes more exhausting when we have exhausted our strength on our prayer altars or prayer mats, as the case may be, and we still have nothing to show for it.

Now, is it really a normal thing for the result we make efforts to tarry? When the result tarries, is it just time and chance happening to them? Could it be that there are still stones unturned? Is there a dysfunction in our method of planning and preparation? Does the result tarry because we have the wrong motive? How long should we hold back when the result tarries? How long should we wait before looking for a shortcut? After all, they say the end justifies the means.
