I can remember Oliver Twist ‘dared for more’ and Pepsi asking us to ‘ask for more’. But the question is, do you really need more?
Let me break the ice: ‘Until you appreciate what you currently have, more won’t make your life better.’ Have you forgotten the old saying that ‘a bird at hand is better than a thousand in the forest?’
Some of us worry so much about getting more that we place no value on what we have. Many of us have lost little things that could grow into something massive while we chase the supposedly bigger ones that never existed.
Let me quickly remind you that that cloth you are tired of is someone’s biggest desire. That smartphone you are tired of using is someone’s prayer point. That girl you are maltreating is someone’s dream.
More won’t make your life better unless you appreciate and value what you have now. Why ask for more when you haven’t harnessed what you’ve got already?
You are entitled to ask for more when what you have is well utilized. While the political system of Nigeria negates this dimension, anything outside this box can never give you a better life. It is only in Nigeria that a public office holder will spend four years doing nothing and will crave a second term of cluelessness!
I think you should rather concentrate on harnessing what you have while you manage the quest for more. Your quest for more should not be driven by greed and undue attention, but rather by a sense of fulfilment that there is a need for your game to change.

May it be reinforced into our consciousness whenever we become unsettled in our quest for more that the more we are looking for lies in the seemingly Little we have .
