DO NOT USE A GUN WHEN HE HAS CALLED YOU TO USE A SLING.

“Do not use a gun when God has called you to use a sling” is one of the instructions that I let guide my life and decisions, unapologetically. On many occasions where I had to reflect on it and ask the Spirit critical questions, one answer stood out. He said, “The potency of the weapon is not in the size of the weapon, the potency is in the Word that backs the weapon”. Kai. God will never be a man! You know right?

Many times the instruction run through my mind, I would keep asking questions. I proceeded to study the duel between David and Goliath. I read how David would have chosen the heavy armor but he did not. Why? The word that backed his action was/is greater than any physical kit. Honestly speaking, every human will prepare the best of their weapons to go to war. Nuclear weapons, topnotch rifles and drones and many more are what characterize typical physical war. But let’s come back to fulfilling destiny because that is another war we go to! In fulfilling destiny, there are actions and deeds God has design for you to follow.

Sometimes, they look really small but as long as they are within the confine of God’s plan, believe me, they are the most effective things you must do. When God says stay in this organization despite your PhD and certifications, He is not belittling you. He knows where your destiny will be quick to find fulfillment. Don’t go overboard trying to pursue a purpose outside the jurisdiction of His plan. He knows where you will find fulfillment. When the time to change from a sling to a machine gun ever comes, He will let you know. And if it doesn’t, stay true to what He has called you to do. Stay on course, fave.

God got you.❤
