Data Retention Policy

1. Principle
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. When that period ends, we either delete or anonymise the data.
2. Retention periods

| Event registrations & booking requests | 24 months from the event/meeting date, then deleted. |
| Contact form submissions | 12 months from last interaction, then deleted. |
| Newsletter subscribers | Until you unsubscribe; backups purged within 30 days. |
| Book / product orders | Up to 7 years to comply with financial and tax record-keeping obligations. |
| Account data (admin users) | For the lifetime of the account, then deleted within 90 days of account closure. |
| Server logs | Up to 90 days, used for security and abuse prevention. |
3. Where data is stored
Form submissions and account data are stored in a managed database protected by row-level security. Uploaded media (images, video, PDFs) are stored at Cloudinary. Payments are processed by Paystack — we never store card details.
4. Right to deletion
You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@olatunbosunolalekan.com. We will respond within 30 days. Some records (e.g. paid orders) may be retained for the legally required period even after a deletion request.
5. Backups
Encrypted backups are kept for up to 30 days for disaster recovery. After that period, backups containing your data are overwritten.
